Materials for Pouch or Hot Roll Laminators

White Mounting boards (Foam Boards)
 Mounting boards are used from mounting with a pouch or hot roll laminator. The boards are pre laminated on the back to minimize boring when a graphics is mounted to the front. The fronts of the boards are coated with heat activated adhesive.

 Black mounting boards are available for an additional charge of $12.00.

To use - Select the boards closest in size to the graphic to be mounted. Center the graphics on the adhesive (dull) side of the board. Cover the whole top of the boards (graphic and all ) with a piece of release paper (two are included in the box in the boards). The release sheet protect the rollers of the laminator from exposure to adhesive not covered by the graphics.

Mounting Boards with Gloss, Satin or Crystal Finishes
 These boards are used for simultaneous mounting and laminating

The boards are pre-laminated on the back to minimize bowing when a graphic is mounted/laminated to the front. The fronts of the boards are coated with heat-activated adhesive and have a piece of laminating film in gloss, velvet or crystal attached.

To use-Select the board closest in size to the graphic to be mounted/laminated. Lift up  the piece of laminating film, center the graphic on the board. lay the attached laminate back down over the top of the graphic. It is not necessary to use a release paper in this process as the laminate cover the whole top of the board thus protecting the laminating rollers from exposure to adhesive.

Laminating Pouches in Gloss and Satin
 To use- Select a pouch closest in size to the graphic to be laminated. If encapsulating the graphic, be sure the pouch is enough larger than the graphic to leave an even border all the way around. It is necessary to use a sled (carrier board, see below) to process a pouch through the laminating rollers. Select the appropriate size sled and pouch. Lay the pouch on the top of the sled. Open the pouch. Center the graphic and close the pouch. Place the closed end of the pouch under the hold down strap. Insert the sled in the the laminating rollers hold-down strap end first.
