The Compass Laminator is the latest in lamination technology. This 27" heated roller laminator is a good fit for schools and print shops alike. The heated silicon rollers provide a clear, uniform lamination using films up to 10 mil thick and allow for mounting and laminating materials up to 1/8" thick. This laminator is loaded with all-inclusive features that simplifies the most difficult laminating projects. The Compass is the result of decades of improvements on Ledco’s extremely durable and successful line of laminators.

New features on the Compass include:

  • Automatic Temperature Control. Prevents the laminator from operating until the optimal laminating temperature has been reached.
  • Graphic Keypad. Makes for easy operation by multiple users.
  • Semi-Automatic Tension Adjustment. Provides for ideal laminating film tension without continuous adjustments resulting in flatter and clearer results.
  • Easy Load System. Makes loading laminating film fast and easy preventing film mishaps when loading.
  • Film Supply Monitor. Advises the user when the film supply is low to prevent wasting of materials and wrap arounds.
  • Energy Saver Mode. Automatically powers down the laminator to Idle Mode after 30 minutes of inactivity and automatically shuts down the laminator after an additional 30 minutes of inactivity. Not only does this save energy and prevent wear on the laminator, but prevents safety hazards by inadvertently leaving the laminator running.
  • Automatic Cooling Fans. Make laminating with film 5 mil or thicker simple without forgetting to use the fans.

Low melt laminating films is the primary choice for most laminating jobs. With a 40 to 50 degree lower activation temperature they can be used with most ink jet, lithographed, silk screened, photo-graphic, electrostatic or other reproduction methods.

Graphic Arts Grades
This film is good for printed items when low cost is important
Recommended for photos and digital images as well. Runs at higher temperature than low melt films.
